Please Support Our Walkers!

Our LilBird's Wings mascot has been reborn this year - huge thanks to one of LilBird's homeschooling friends, Serene Michael! I am so excited and grateful that our walk team has grown this year to include several homeschooling famillies - and they have hit the ground running helping us raise funds for a cure! Thank you, new families!! I would also like to thank everybody who made the peach salsa fundraiser so successful - I could not have done that without my in-laws, my friend Sandy (canning queen!), and all of the people who bought it! I hope you all enjoyed that, and next year I will add a spicy/hot option!

WE STILL NEED HELP REACHING OUR TEAM GOAL!

Our team has bake sales scheduled for September 5th at CenterStage Performing Arts in Jenks and September 9th at Ultimate Gymnastics in Tulsa.  These bake sales include some of the most delicious homemade treats you can imagine - and the prices can't be beat! My friend Sandy, my mother-in-law Wilma, and my sister Shane' work crazy hard to provide top quality goodies - and they do not disappoint!

Please take a moment to visit the individual pages of our walkers and donate to their goal directly from their page (listed individually at the bottom of our team page).  Each of our walkers has their own reason for walking and their own individual goals that they are hoping to reach in support of JDRF and the work it does to end this this dreadful disease. As much as they support LilBird, I appreciate and reciprocate it!

I know that there are charities for every cause in every corner of the world. I understand that money is tight. Trust me, I know!
